A Princess Diana Memorial Concert has just been announced for June 27. The show is scheduled to take place at Althorp Park on the 8,500-acre Northhamptonshire, England estate where the Princess of Wales is buried.

The concert is being organized by Earl Spencer, Diana's brother, to benefit the Diana Memorial Fund. It will take place just three days before the park opens to the public on July 1, which would be Diana's 37th birthday.

There's already advance word from the U.K. that Elton "Candle In The Wind '97" John and George Michael, both friends of the Princess, will perform, however the official line-up won't be announced until February 27.

Fifteen thousand tickets will go on sale for the Diana Memorial Concert.
