R&B crooner Joe was joined by a host of friends last night at a New York City club to celebrate the release of his third album, "My Name Is Joe."

Fat Joe, Foxy Brown, Queen Latifah, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, and MTV's Carson Daly all stopped by to exchange well wishes with Joe.

A young diva named Brandy was also in the house to celebrate the release of "My Name Is Joe," though she says the party scene is not generally her cup of tea.

"I don't really attend these type of parties," Brandy told MTV News. "Not to discredit anyone, but I am just in New York, and I heard about [the party], and I just wanted to support Joe."

Another fan of Joe that stopped by the party was Terror Squad's Cuban Link, who met the R&B singer through his late friend Big Punisher, as he briefly explained to MTV News.

"Well Pun, Pun did a song called "Still Not A Player" with [Joe]," Cuban Link said. "And that was the most incredible joint the world's heard." [RealAudio]

Living legend Stevie Wonder, Eve, producer Stevie J, Ananda Lewis, Pete Rock, Miss Jones, Aaliyah, Allure, actress Tara Reid, and Star Jones also showed their faces at Joe's Tuesday evening gala.

"My Name Is Joe" features guest spots from Mariah Carey and Nas (on Carey's "Thank God I Found You" remix), and pop quintet 'NSYNC (see "Joe Records With 'NSYNC, Talks Hardcore R&B").

She'kspere, Xscape's Kandi Burruss, and Teddy Riley all contributed to the tracks on "My Name Is Joe," while Joe produced the majority of the songs.
