Latin pop crossovers Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias, Marc Anthony, and Jennifer Lopez were all among the most nominated artists for the seventh annual "Billboard" Latin Music Awards, although none could match the six nods garnered by Tejano superstar Marco Antonio Solís.

Solís received most of the nominations on Monday for his work on his latest album, 1999's "Trozos De Mi Alma," and he will also be inducted into the "Billboard" Latin Music Hall of Fame as part of the awards show, being held at April 27 in Miami Beach, Florida.

Ricky Martin was next behind Solís with five nominations, followed by Enrique Iglesias with four nods. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony tied five other artists with three nominations each, including merengue singers Elvis Crespo and Olga Tañón.

Finalists for this year's Latin Music Awards were determined by their chart performance on the "Billboard" Latin Top 50 and Hot Latin Tracks between the period of January 30, 1999 and January 29, 2000.

The "Billboard" Latin Music Awards are being held in conjunction with the trade publication's International Latin Music Conference, scheduled for April 25-27 in Miami, and the event will be taped for broadcast on the Telemundo network in May.
