It wasn't all scuffles and scandals for Third Eye Blind at last weekend's KROQ Weenie Roast.

The band, which grabbed headlines for an incident involving Green Day (see "Green Day/Third Eye Blind Skirmish Results In Skull Fracture, Cancelled Concerts"), also made lighter news when it was joined by Billy Idol for a rendition of 3EB's "Graduate" [1.2M QuickTime Live].

"He came over to the house yesterday," Jenkins explained to MTV News. "And we hung out and he talked about having me help him with his record, producing some tracks, so I was just talking to him about that and I just invited him [580k QuickTime] to come. 'What are you doing? Want to come?'"

"We just might work together and write a song," Idol said. "So he said he was doing the Weenie Roast, KROQ and said why don't I come and sing 'Graduate'" [580k QuickTime].

Third Eye Blind, minus Idol, will kick off a tour on Thursday in Binghamton, New York (for an itinerary, see "Third Eye Blind Sets Tour Plans").
