Rapper Ice Cube recently started a new film production company appropriately dubbed Cubevision.

The new outfit already has a three-picture deal with New Line Cinema and is also expected to delve into music, television, and video games.

Amongst the film projects, Cube is slated to star in the picture "Shadow Man," adapted from the Akklaim comic book series he developed, which he also intends to turn into a video game. Additionally, Cube is acting in the upcoming films, "Pimp," and the sequel to "Friday," cleverly titled "Next Friday."

No stranger to the film industry, Ice Cube's previous screen credits include, "Boyz 'N the Hood," "Anaconda," and "The Player's Club," which saw the rapper make his directorial debut. Currently, he is shooting his role in the upcoming movie, "Three Kings," starring opposite George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg.

Master P is also stepping up his business efforts outside the music realm by inking a deal with the agency Endeavor. The outfit will help P land more roles and develop more film and television projects in conjunction with his production company, No Limit Filmworks. As previously reported, P will be seen in such No Limit Films as "Lockdown," and "No Tomorrow," in addition to a television series he's developing with MTV Networks.
