Singer-actress Janet Jackson and rapper-actor Ice Cube are among the stars lined up to hand out statuettes at this year's MTV Movie Awards.
Those music luminaries will join Hollywood heavy hitters Mel Gibson, Samuel L. Jackson, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Seth Green, Jason Biggs, Jamie Foxx, Katie Holmes, Chris Klein, Freddie Prinze Jr., and Mena Suvari on the list of presenters when the awards are handed out next month.
As we previously reported, 'NSYNC, Metallica, and D'Angelo are confirmed to perform at the 2000 MTV Movie Awards, which will be taped on June 3 at Culver City, California's Sony Pictures Studios (see "'NSYNC, Metallica, More For MTV Movie Awards"). The show will air on June 8 on MTV with "Sex And The City" star Sarah Jessica Parker acting as host.
More presenters and some special guest stars are expected to be announced soon.
For Cube, the move comes after his acclaimed turn in last year's "Three Kings" and his box office success with this year's "Next Friday." The appearance also gives him the chance to promote his hew album, "War & Peace Vol. 2 (The Peace Disc)."
For Janet, the Movie Awards give her the chance to pump her role in the upcoming Eddie Murphy-in-latex sequel "The Nutty Professor II: The Klumps."
