Dec. 5, 1996 -- It seems that actress Courtney Love is finally returning to music. Love and her band Hole are back together, writing songs, and rehearsing to record their third album. The band had taken an extended hiatus that allowed Love to appear in the new Milos Forman movie, "The People Vs. Larry Flynt."
Love, who's previously had bit parts in such films as "Sid and Nancy" and "Feeling Minnesota," stars opposite Woody Harrelson in the new biopic. The movie, which opens December 27, features Love as the doomed, drug-addicted, ex-stripper wife of "Hustler" magazine publisher Flynt.
As per the singer's foray into acting, "There's no 'versus' in there, and nobody's trying to make me choose," Love said. "I know it's weird. I haven't see it done very much, or at all, with people doing both well. I can think of Frank Sinatra. But you know what? I've been around a number of things that have happened that haven't been done. So I'm really undaunted by that. I don't care."
