Musicians-turned-actors Courtney Love and L.L. Cool J will serve as presenters for this year's Golden Globe Awards, being held on January 23 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Love and L.L. will join the ranks of such film and TV figures as Steven Spielberg, Harrison Ford, Gwyneth Paltrow, Michael Douglas, Alec Baldwin, Winona Ryder, and Antonio Banderas for the event, which will mark the 57th time the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has handed out the Golden Globes.

Hole frontwoman Love had roles in a pair of feature films in 1999, "200 Cigarettes" and "Man On The Moon," and shot another picture, "Beat," in which she stars as Joan Vollmer Adams, common-law wife of "Naked Lunch" writer William S. Burroughs, portrayed by Kiefer Sutherland. "Beat" is due out later this year.

Rapper L.L. also spent much of last year in front of a camera, appearing in three films, "Deep Blue Sea," "In Too Deep," and, most recently, Oliver Stone's professional football flick, "Any Given Sunday."

The 2000 Golden Globe Awards will be broadcast live on NBC on January 23 beginning at 8 p.m. (ET).
