Adventurous alt rock powerhouse PJ Harvey is preparing to return to the studio to begin work on a fifth studio album, the first since 1998's acclaimed "Is This Desire?"
A spokesperson for Polly Jean Harvey's record label, Island/Mercury, told MTV News that Harvey and her band will hit a studio in England this month to begin work on the next PJ Harvey LP.
This time out, Harvey is once again working with longtime drummer Rob Ellis (who played on Harvey's 1992 album "Dry" and 1993's "Rid Of Me") and multi-instrumentalist Mick Harvey (who played on PJ's 1995 "To Bring You My Love" and 1998's "Is This Desire?" in addition to his stint in Nick Cave's Bad Seeds).
There's no firm release date yet, but the label expects the album to arrive late this year.
