Oklahoma's favorite musical sons, Hanson, have returned to the studio to begin work on their sophomore effort, and they aren't planning on messing with the formula for success they mapped out on "Middle Of Nowhere."

Isaac, Taylor, and Zac are holed up at an undisclosed location, and are getting at least some production help from Cars guitarist/vocalist Ric Ocasek.

The band recently told MTV News that the effort would be a little harder and a bit more rocking than its first album, but that it would still be a very poppy affair.

The Hanson brothers also report that they aren't feeling any pressure as they prepare to follow up the 8-million-selling success of "Middle Of Nowhere."

The band hopes to have the album in stores this fall.
