There must be some sort of horrible pun about "Mission: Impossible" and the daunting task of knocking 'NSYNC off of the top of the "Billboard" album chart, but we certainly won't subject you to it.
Instead, we'll report that once again, 'NSYNC's "No String Attached" will hold the number one slot on the "Billboard" chart according to sales figures released by SoundScan on Wednesday. The group sold another 188,000 copies of the album to claim the top spot for the eighth week in a row.
Also arriving this week, and sneaking in under the wire to crack the top 20, is the latest offering from Hanson. The Oklahoma brothers sold more than 64,000 copies of their "This Time Around" in one week to land at number 19. Close behind at number 21 is teen pop diva-in-training Mandy Moore, who sold just under 60,000 copies of her "I Wanna Be With You."
The week's other notable debuts include Avant at 49 with "My Thoughts," Killah Priest at 73 with "View From Masada," Bad Religion at 88 with "New America," the Judds at 107 with "Live: Judds Reunion," and the Jayhawks at 129 with "Smile."
