August 19 [7:55 EDT] -- If you're still wondering what similarities brought the Wu-Tang Clan and Rage Against The Machine together on tour, you need to look beneath the surface.
"They the white version of us, and we the black version of them," Wu-Tang's Raekwon told MTV News recently. "They ain't no color lines when you coming through with us, because we got little kids and babies looking at us. They admire all of us, all the artists. So you just got to do your thing, it's one big fly mural everybody's painting. They did they're picture, we did our picture." [1.5MB QuickTime]
That mural keeps getting bigger and bigger as various Wu-Tang MCs continue to join Rage on stage during that band's headlining sets. Rza was the first to join Rage for some freestyling (see "Rage, Wu Talk About Getting Together" from August 13 in the MTV News Gallery), and most recently, Rza and Raekwon hit the stage [800k QuickTime]with Rage Sunday night in Hartford, Connecticut.
