After fighting what might have felt like a lengthy uphill battle on behalf of their second album, "Version 2.0," Garbage singer Shirley Manson is finally getting some facetime as the year draws to a close courtesy of "Spin" magazine and the band's new video.

Manson can be spotted on the cover of "Spin's" year-end issue, where her band's "Version 2.0" made the magazine's list of the top ten albums of the year (Lauryn Hill, Elliot Smith, Outkast, Lucinda Williams, Air, Massive Attack, Marilyn Manson, Billy Bragg & Wilco, and the Beastie Boys round out the list).

Meanwhile, the latest video from Garbage, for the Pretenders-flavored "Special," debuted on MTV this week. The sci-fi inspired clip rolled out during "120 Minutes" on Sunday, and features Manson gunning for her bandmates in an intergalactic dogfight.

The Manson-fronted issue of "Spin" is on newsstands now, and "Special" is making the rounds on radio and MTV.
