Jan. 24 [16:00 EST] -- The Fugees will reportedly take to the big screen with starring roles in the sequel to the 1973 cult classic "The Harder They Come."
According to a "Hollywood Reporter" report, Lauryn, Pras, and Wyclef will share screen time with the star of the original film, reggae veteran Jimmy Cliff, when shooting starts June 1 in Jamaica.
Little of the plot was disclosed in the report, except that Wyclef will play Cliff's son in the movie, titled "The Harder They Fall." The film should hit theaters in early 1998.
Of course, there will be a soundtrack, which will reportedly constitute the next full-length album from the band.
