Fugees member Pras' acting career has been progressing quite nicely: he will be starring in the upcoming film "Ghetto Supastar," and he's already signed on for his next big screen project.

A representative for the rapper confirmed to MTV that he will star in a remake of the 1992 Hong Kong action flick, "Xia dao Gao Feic" (a.k.a. "Full Contact"), a film that originally starred Chow Yun-Fat. According to the "Hollywood Reporter," the film's core story will remain the same, but settings, circumstances, and characters will be adjusted to fit the tastes of an American audience.

Pras, who had a role in this summer's "Mystery Men," is also working on his second solo effort, but that album won't be completed until next year at the earliest.

Meanwhile, "Ghetto Supastar," which also stars Ja Rule, should be hitting theaters next spring (see "Pras, Ja Rule Report From The Set Of 'Ghetto Superstar'").
