Joining the likes of Jewel, 98 Degrees, Natalie Cole and Ringo Starr in releasing a Christmas album this holiday season is none other than talk show host Rosie O'Donnell.
Rosie's singing in the recent animated film "Tarzan" and her occasional outburst into song on her own TV show may not have won her a record deal, which may explain why "A Rosie Christmas" is an album consisting mainly of duets. Participating in the album are quite a few singers of note, including the guys from 'N Sync as well as Celine Dion, Lauryn Hill, and Cher, not to mention the furry red vocalist known as Elmo. The album will also include two Rosie-less tracks: "Last Christmas" by Savage Garden's Darren Hayes and Billy Porter's "O Holy Night." O'Donnell and the other singers on the album will be donating their proceeds to The For All Kids Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by O'Donnell. The For All Kids Foundation awards grants to non-profit organizations that support underserviced children with child care, medical, educational, and housing programs. "A Rosie Christmas," due in stores on November 2, will get a plugging a month after its release, when ABC airs an hour-long holiday special on December 5. The details of the special have yet to be determined. Here's the track listing for "A Rosie Christmas:"- Celine Dion: "The Magic Of Christmas Day (God Bless Us Everyone)"
- Cher: "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)"

- Billy Joel: "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas"
- 'N-Sync: "Love's In Our Hearts On Christmas Day"
- Elmo (from "Sesame Street"): "Do You Hear What I Hear"
- Gloria Estefan: "Gonna Eat For Christmas"

- Angelica Pickles (from "Rugrats"): "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus"
