After seeing the release of its album delayed due to heavy demand for cat food, the New York band Firewater has finally delivered "The Ponzi Scheme" to stores.
The band had wanted to release the album last month packaged in a special tin can (pictured here), but the factory responsible for the packaging got a sudden call for a million cans of cat food. The news of the mishap broke on April 1, leading some to mistakenly view the news as an April Fools Day joke, but the band wasn't laughing about the turn of events.
With the album in stores, the band will now launch a two-week tour on May 28 at Nick's in Philadelphia. The band will then play more dates with the Jesus Lizard in June, July, and August.
