September 29 [14:00 EDT] -- Everclear will trumpet the arrival of their latest album, the superbly titled "So Much For The Afterglow," with a string of intimate in-store appearances.

After playing to a crowd expected to be in the thousands at the World Championships of Skateboarding on October 5, the band will launch its run of in-stores on October 6 at Tower Newbury in Boston.

The next day, "Afterglow," arrives marking the band's first effort since 1995's platinum release "Sparkle And Fade." That same day, the band will turn up on "The Late Show With David Letterman" to roll out its new single, "Everything To Everyone."

After hitting 10 stores in two weeks, the band will take a bit of a rest before launching amore conventional U.S. tour on October 30 in Lawrence, Kansas.
