Everclear frontman Art Alexakis underwent surgery on his vocal cords at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Following the outpatient procedure, the singer was told to stop talking for ten days.

Thankfully, Alexakis' healing process will be long over once the band takes the stage at this summer's 30th anniversary Woodstock concert. The three-day festival will take place in Rome, New York during the weekend of July 23-25 (see "Everclear, Godsmack, Lit, More Headed To Woodstock").
