Spokespeople for folk-rocker Melissa Etheridge announced on Wednesday that the singer and her girlfriend, Julie Cypher, are expecting their second child.
According to Etheridge's record label, Island Records, Cypher is due to deliver the couple's second child in November. Cypher gave birth to the couple's first child, a girl they named Bailey Jean, in February of last year.
The announcement of a second child for Etheridge and Cypher seems to follow the couple's plan as they have told reporters in the past that they hope to have three children.
The news comes as Etheridge is busy in Los Angeles working on her upcoming album, which is due to arrive in January of 1999.
