Ruff Ryders rapper Drag-On was arrested in New York on Monday night and charged with assault after he allegedly engaged in a fight with his limo driver.

Drag-On (real name Melvin Smalls) was later arraigned and released on bail, and then gave his account of what happened to New York's FOX 5 News.

"My limo driver came and picked me up," the rapper began. "We was coming up on the airport. We were going to pick my man up, and he was wild. [The driver] called me racist names, but I let all that slide though. I got to my crib, and it's like he was talking crazy.

"I was trying to hold it back, but I couldn't hold it back," he continued.

When asked what he did after that, the rapper threw mock punches at the camera and said, "That's what I did. Straight up." [RealVideo]

Drag-On will be featured on the sophomore album by fellow Ruff Ryder Eve, due out later this fall.
