Platinum rapper Shawntae Harris, better known as Da Brat, is hard at work in Atlanta on her third album, "Unrestricted," and she'll soon be shooting a video with Hype Williams for her new single, "What You Like."
Brat's current clip, "That's What I'm Looking For," was directed by David Meyers, who's also handled videos for L.L. Cool J and Kid Rock as well as Eve's clip for "Love Is Blind" with Faith Evans. Though she's not likely to be going the Lil' Kim route any time soon, Brat told MTV News' Chris Connelly that as far as videos are concerned, she's taking it one day at a time. "Dave Meyers is like a great producer, director," Brat told Connelly. "I was like, 'We're gonna have to take it gradually,'" she continued. "'In this video, I will wear the tight stuff. I'll wear the makeup. I will do all the interactions and dancing and everything.'" [RealVideo] Brat's album "Unrestricted," her first since 1996's "Anuthatantrum," is due out in April.
