K-Ci & JoJo, Terence Trent D'Arby, Chante Moore, Rahsaan Patterson, Jesse Powell, and Billy Porter have all been added to the cast of the upcoming CBS TV miniseries, "Shake, Rattle & Roll," scheduled to air on November 7 and 10.

The four-hour program, which stars Bonnie Somerville, Samaria Graham, and Tyler Hart, and Bill Whaley, will chronicle the rise of American music from the mid-'50s through 1963, when the British Invasion took control of the burgeoning social and cultural movement.

For "Shake, Rattle & Roll," D'Arby will assume the role of R&B icon Jackie Wilson, while Billy Porter has landed the part of eccentric rock and roller Little Richard.

Chante Moore plays the part of an unspecified pop singer and K-Ci & JoJo team up with Patterson and Powell as members of an unspecified doo-wop quartet, each of which is said to be an amalgam of several female stars and vocal groups of the era.

As we reported in June (see ) the miniseries has already landed Mighty Mighty Bosstones frontman Dicky Barrett for the part of Bill Haley ("Rock Around the Clock"), while Thomas DeLonge and Marcus Allan Hoppus from Blink-182 will portray the '50s duo Jan & Dean ("The Little Old Lady From Pasadena," "Dead Man's Curve").

A soundtrack featuring songs from the miniseries, including new songs from Bob Dylan, B.B. King, Carole King, Graham Nash, and Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, will be released to accompany the broadcast.
