November 14 [10:00 EDT] -- When Oasis finally come to the U.S. for their first Stateside tour behind "Be Here Now," they'll be bringing Cornershop along for help.
The Gallagher brothers and their Oasis-mates have tapped the curry-flavored band, who currently have a Buzz Clip with "Brim Full Of Asha," [900k QuickTime] to open for them on when their U.S. tour kicks off on January 8 in Camden, New Jersey.
Cornershop's latest album, "When I Was Born For The 7th Time," has been hailed by critics as an Indian answer to Beck's "Odelay," and the band will prepare for its stint with Oasis by mounting a co-headlining tour with Iceland's Gus Gus.
