Former Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell has announced plans for a weeklong mini-tour to help promote the release of his upcoming solo debut, "Euphoria Morning," due out on September 21.

For the tour, which kicks off in Boston on September 13, Cornell has recruited guitarist Alain Johannes and keyboardist Natasha Shneider from the L.A. group Eleven (both of whom also appear on Cornell's new album), bassist Rick Markman, and drummer Greg Upchurch.

The first single from "Euphoria Morning" will be titled "Can't Change Me," and it's scheduled to arrive at radio on August 9.
