Maybe it's something in the water, but a lot of folks in Seattle just seem plain apathetic about appearing in music videos.
It's been years since Pearl Jam showed their faces in a clip, and the group's neighbor, former Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, was fresh off the set of the video for his first solo single, "Can't Change Me," when he told MTV that taking part in the process isn't exactly his first priority. "There's been moments in history where someone was making a rock video and cinematically it was actually a brilliant moment," Cornell told MTV. The "Can't Change Me" video will debut on MTV's "Making The Video" on Monday, September 6, at 10:30 p.m. (ET). Meanwhile, Cornell is gearing up for the September 21 release of his first solo album, "Euphoria Morning," with a six-date mini-tour. A full U.S. outing is expected to kick off in November. Here's where Cornell's initial string of dates will take him:- 9/13 - Cambridge, MA @ Sanders Theater
