De La Soul and Common are among the acts that will step out on the road this summer on the "Spitkicker Tour," a hip-hop package tour with an interesting twist.
The outing, which also includes Reflection Eternal featuring Talib Kweli, Pharaohe Monch, and the legendary Biz Markie, will not include a separate set from each artist. Unlike your typical multi-act tour, the artists will participate in one long performance that will feature a different guest appearance in each city.
De La Soul will perform new music from its upcoming album, titled "Art Official Intelligence," which hits stores July 18.
The Spitkicker Tour will kick off on June 28 at the Paramount in Seattle and wrap up August 5 at the Avalon Ballroom in Boston.
We'll let you know as soon as a complete itinerary becomes available.
