August 26 [10:00 EDT] -- Rappers like Puff Daddy, Coolio, and the Wu-Tang Clan pay tribute to old school icons on the upcoming collection "In Tha Beginning... There Was Rap."

Snoop Doggy Dogg, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and Cypress Hill also turn up on the album, due November 25 giving props to Run DMC, NWA, and Jimmy Spicer among others.

The Wu-Tang Clan offer up a cover of Run-DMC's "Sucker MCs," Puff Daddy takes a shot at L.L. Cool J's "Big Ol' Butt," Snoop Dogg does Too-Short's "Freaky Tales," Coolio resurrects Jimmy Spicer's "Dollar Bill Y'All," while Bone Thugs-N-Harmony revisit the NWA gangster classic "F--- The Police."
