The folks behind the annual Boston hard rock fest known as Locobazooka have done a bit of juggling.
The bill (which boasts Primus, System Of A Down, Drain STH, Static-X, Puya, Staind, Verbena, Machine Head and others) was to have featured Type O Negative, but the band has dropped off the bill due to a scheduling conflict. When the show unfolds on September 19, Type O will be in the midst of a string of in-store appearances that will see the band drumming up support for its new album "World Coming Down" (which arrives in stores on September 21). However, Type O labelmates Coal Chamber and Slipknot have agreed to pick up the slack and have joined the bill. The event comes at the end of a string of dates that sees Coal Chamber and Slipknot sharing the stage with Machine Head and Amen. Set for Green Hill Park in Worcester, Massachusetts, the show will feature sets from Dovetail Joint, Tree, and a host of local acts, as well as exhibitions by the folks from Boston-based independent wrestling outfit Chaotic World Wrestling. The annual event is being put together by 3D Entertainment and is sponsored by Boston area hard rock station WAAF. Over the last seven years, Locobazooka has hosted Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock, Faith No More, and provided the setting for Godsmack's live "Whatever" video.
