Public Enemy's soundtrack for the new Spike Lee film, "He's Got Game," the group's first new album in four years, arrives in stores today and finds the revered rappers teaming up with some familiar friends.

Spike and PE last collaborated on a video for "Fight the Power," a song featured prominently in Lee's 1989 drama, "Do the Right Thing," and after being asked by the director to work on some tracks for his new film, Enemy heeded the call and reunited the original group to produce an album that Bomb Squad producer Hank Shocklee says has a specific purpose.

"One thing about Public Enemy," Shocklee told the MTV Radio Network, "it's always been about us having a purpose, and this [album] gave us a platform to have a purpose to get back together and do something. And it was just fun working with everybody again."

The soundtrack for "He Got Game" features 13 new Public Enemy cuts, including the first single title track, which samples Buffalo Springfield's "For What It's Worth." Lee's film, a basketball drama starring Denzel Washington and NBA player Ray Allen, hits screens on May 1.
