Joan Osborne, Chuck D, Me'Shell N'degeocello, and R.E.M.'s Peter Buck are among the artists taking part in Music Bridges Across the World, a cultural exchange between U.S., British, and Cuban musicians.
The American and British contingent will fly to Havana, Cuba on March 21 to spend a week writing songs and jamming with their Cuban counterparts. The sessions will conclude with a concert at Havana's Karl Marx Theater. U.S. citizens are still not allowed to fly into Cuba without the permission of the U.S. government.
