Block rockin' beatmasters the Chemical Brothers, who helped pump up the electronica bubble two years ago, are back in stores this week with "Surrender."

Mixed in with the breaks and samples this time around are guest spots by such singers as Mazzy Star's Hope Sandoval, New Order's Bernard Sumner, Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie, and Oasis' Neil Gallagher. The Brothers themselves, Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands, recently told MTV News that the sessions surrounding these vocal contributions were a little warmer than they were for 1997's "Dig Your Own Hole."

"The collaborators we're working with this time... It's different from where we were last time. It's a lot more open kind of thing," said Rowlands.

The Chemical Brothers will be appearing at the three-day Woodstock '99 festival that gets underway on July 23 in Rome, New York.
