The release of Bush's upcoming album, "The Science Of Things," has been delayed for almost a year by various legal complications, but the band isn't sweating the fact that it's been three years -- a dog's life in modern rock time -- since the its last album, 1996's "Razorblade Suitcase."
Singer/guitarist Gavin Rossdale recently told the MTV Radio Network that Bush's time out of the public eye has been "healthy," not only for them, but for music fans in general. "We did two records back to back," Rossdale said. "We were everywhere for so long. I think it's good to have that time where you go away for a while and then you come back." [RealAudio] Bush will shoot a video for the album's first single, "The Chemicals Between Us," later this month in Los Angeles. "The Science Of Things" is due in stores in November.
