Gavin Rossdale of Bush has apparently taken up a new hobby: kung fu.Perhaps as a warning to his band's critics, Rossdale will be displaying his new skills in the video for "The Chemicals Between Us," the first single from Bush's upcoming album, "The Science of Things." The clip, which also features performance footage of the band, sees Rossdale confronted by several martial artists, including a samurai in traditional armor. To prepare for his fight scenes, the Bush frontman trained with kung fu instructor and choreographer Tai-Muk in Los Angeles for several weeks prior to filming. The video was shot last month in L.A. by Stephane Sedanoui, who has previously worked with Alanis Morissette, Bjork, and Fiona Apple, among others (see "Bush Switches Release Date, Video Director"). The video will premiere on MTV's "Total Request Live" on Monday; meanwhile, "The Science Of Things" will be in stores on October 26.
