R&B singer-turned-sitcom star Brandy probably couldn't have picked a more dangerous role in which to make her feature film debut.
Brandy doesn't seem concerned that, if the sequel is anything like the original "Summer," being near Hewitt may be extremely hazardous for her character's health.
"I'm definitely excited because I saw the first one," Brandy told MTV News about taking the role. "The first one was incredible. I liked it just as much as I liked 'Scream,' so I mean, it just had a lot of jumpy moments and I was really excited about it, so I'm going to do that [600k QuickTime], maybe in May or April, so keep your fingers crossed."
The sequel, currently titled "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer," isn't expected to arrive until next year.
Meanwhile, Brandy is in the studio working on her second album which is due out this summer.
