Lil' Kim and Duncan Sheik were performers at a party in New York City last Friday night to announce what we believe is a music industry first. Their label, Atlantic Records, has signed a pact with the Wilhelmina agency to develop images and set up modeling deals for acts on the label's roster.
Lil' Kim and Duncan Sheik will be joined in this new fashion-music synergy by Brandy, who's already taken on acting as well as singing, and talked with MTV about what she looked forward to in branching out even further with Wilhelmina.
"I can't wait to see what they're going to do with my modeling career," Brandy said. "I'm a big fan of Tommy Hilfiger and Polo Sport and Donna Karan and Dolce & Gabbana -- I'm saying all this because I want an endorsement."
"But I'm a huge fan of all them," she continued,
As we previously reported (see "Brandy Lands First Film Role In 'Summer' Sequel"), Brandy will start work on "I Know What You Did Last Summer 2" with co-star Jennifer Love Hewitt later this month.
