As Wesley Snipes prepares to fight the undead in his new action flick, "Blade," which opens on August 21, some of the top names in rap and electronica are coming out for the vampire-huntin' soundtrack.
In the film, which is based upon a Marvel Comic character, Snipes confronts a vampire overlord -- portrayed by Stephen Dorff -- who wants to annihilate the human race.
The soundtrack for "Blade" remains to be completed, although it's slated for release August 18 on TVT Soundtrax and will feature both new and previously unreleased songs from a variety of artists, including New Order, DJ Krush and Gang Starr with M.O.P.
The song listing currently being hammered out for the "Blade" soundtrack album features:
