D'Angelo, currently on top of the charts with his new album, "Voodoo," will host a special VIP party in New York City today to premiere the spring fashion issue of "Honey" magazine.

The R&B singer graces the cover of the spring issue of "Honey," and he has invited some of his rap and hip-hop friends, including TLC, Mary J. Blige, Usher, Missy Elliott, Aaliyah, Brian McKnight, and Lil' Kim, to come out for a private party at a Greenwich Village club.

Because the celebrity magazine bash is being held less than a week before Valentine's Day, D'Angelo will also be serving as a host for the party, which organizers are referring to as a celebration of a "private affair between a man and woman."

The spring 2000 issue of "Honey" magazine is expected to hit newsstands on February 15.
