Fat Joe and Big Pun, whose new album, "Capital Punishment," is firmly locked down in the Top 20, are going to jail today, but it's all for a good cause.

In an event sponsored by "Stress" magazine and the New York Department of Corrections, rappers Fat Joe and Big Punisher will head to New York City's Rikers Island Correctional Facility to perform a concert for the prisoners there.

The show, which will also feature new Def Jam artist, Cormega, is part of an ongoing program aimed at curbing inmate violence through the positive messages of hip hop music.

No word yet on if the performance was being captured for posterity, a la Johnny Cash's "At Folsom Prison," but we'll keep you posted.
