After working with R. Kelly's proteges Sparkle, top ten rapper Cam'ron has now hooked up with Kelly himself for a track that will turn up on Kelly's upcoming double album.

Cam'ron teamed with Sparkle, the first signing to Kelly's Rock-Land label, and briefly met Kelly during a recent trip to Chicago. When the rapper returned to New York, he received a phone call from Kelly thanking him for his work with Sparkle and offering him some more work for Kelly's own double album, "R."

Cam'ron received a tape of the song in the mail, and a follow-up phone call from Kelly who coached him on how he wanted the song to sound.

"I was on the phone with (R. Kelly)," Cam'ron explained to the MTV Radio Network. "And I told him, 'Whatever you want me to do, I'll do it.' You know what I'm sayin', 'cause I'm a big fan of R. Kelly, so anything he wanted me to do on a song, I did. But he just told me to be myself and it was natural and the song came out hot."

Cam'ron says that the track is titled "Let's Ride" and also features rapper Noreaga.

On a related note, Cam'ron also says that he will be collaborating with Noreaga again on an album that will probably arrive next year.

Cam'ron will keep the collaborations coming with his next project, a remix of his single "Horse and Carriage" that will feature Wyclef Jean, Big Punisher, Charli Baltimore, and Silkk the Shocker.
