After seeing his "A Prince Among Thieves" album debut at number 138 on next week's album chart, Prince Paul will try to drum up a little more support on a U.S. tour that kicks off later this month.

The good Prince will get things rolling on March 14 at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, Florida, and will go on to DJ throughout the U.S. until April 5.

The tour should call attention to an album that finds Prince Paul getting help from Wu-Tang Clan's RZA, Everlast, De La Soul, Big Daddy Kane, Xzibit, Sadat X from Brand Nubian, and comedian Chris Rock among others.

"See I really wrote a screen play," the DJ explained to MTV News.

Before going out on his own, Prince Paul originally started out in 1986 as the resident DJ in the hip-hop outfit Stetsasonic, then moved into more of a producer capacity with De La Soul for their 1989 platinum album "3 Feet High and Rising." He also helped form the hip-hop supergroup, Gravediggaz. Prince Paul will be joined by Big Daddy Kane, Chubb Rock, and a reunited Stetsasonic among others on his New York club date at Tramps on March 23.
