Alanis Morissette says she hasn't been able to spend much time with Tori Amos yet, but that will all change when the pair hits the road on Wednesday night for a co-headlining tour.
The outing is sponsored, in part, by the digital-music distributor MP3.com, and it'll feature different opening acts each night who have been selected by Morissette and Amos from the roster of MP3.com up-and-comers. As for the headliners themselves, MTV's Ananda Lewis talked to Morissette about her tourmate at last month's Woodstock '99 festival. "I've loved [Tori Amos'] music since day one," Alanis told Ananda. "We haven't spent that much time together, but I feel as though we have, because we know each other through each other's music." [RealVideo] The two artists will undoubtedly spend plenty of time together during the "5-1/2 Weeks" tour, as it's being called, which kicks off in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
