U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Creed, Christina Aguilera and Bon Jovi will perform at the My VH1 Music Awards on November 30 in Los Angeles.

The interactive awards show, which will air live on the cable television channel at 9 p.m. ET, allows viewers to participate in real time via VH1.com. Fans can vote after watching clips of the finalists; ; pick their view of the show from Web cams on the red carpet, podium, pressroom, and control room; view a real-time photo gallery; and submit e-mail questions for winners to answer in the pressroom.

More than 1 million fans chose the categories for the My VH1 Music Awards, which include such standards as Song of Year alongside atypical categories such as Most Entertaining Public Feud, You Want Fries With That Album? — for the artists who have made the best ads — and Your Song Kicked Ass But Was Played Too Damn Much (including Santana, Creed and Macy Gray as nominees). . Fans also decided the finalists for each category, and may vote for the winners right up until the awards are presented.

Hosts and additional guests and performers have not been announced for the show, to be held at the Staples Center.
