Feb. 6 [9:55 EST] -- Aerosmith have tapped a rather unlikely candidate to open the European leg of their upcoming world tour: Kula Shaker.
The Sanskrit-loving British rockers will open for Aerosmith on the band's non-U.K. dates in May and June.
The 19-city tour, the band's first in two years, launches May 8 in Gothenberg, Sweden, and will hit 14 countries before winding down on June 14 in Spain.
Aerosmith are then expected to head to the U.S. for a full-fledged North American tour, but now dates or opening acts have been announced yet, but we'll keep you posted.
The band's next album, "Nine Lives," is due March 18.
