September 10 [14:00 EDT] -- What do Steven Tyler and Woody Allen have in common?

An interest in Marry Me Jane, or at least singer Amanda Kravat. Tyler and the rest of Aerosmith has asked Marry Me Jane to open a series of dates for them, and Woody Allen has offered Kravat a role in his latest movie.

Unfortunately, both offers are concurrent, falling into roughly the same time frame next month. The Aerosmith dates from late September through November are firm, but the L.A. Times reports the singer is attempting to schedule the movie shoots around the tour.

Kravat currently has a part in Keenen Ivory Wayans' "Most Wanted," which hits the big screen this November.

The band has always had ties to the movies. Their first album is basically the soundtrack to a flick called "If Lucy Fell." Ten of the 13 songs from the self-titled release appear in the film.

Marry Me Jane has just released a second album, "Tick," on the Epic/550 Music label. As we reported in July, Tyler, a good friend of Kravat's, supplies some background vocals on the song "I'm That Bad" and "assorted cocktail party chit-chat during the song's guitar solo", according to the band's official website.
