Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds is finally getting the best-of treatment with Babyface: A Collection of His Greatest Hits, due out November 14.
The set features two new songs, including the single "Reason for Breathing," which he co-wrote with Joe. The other new cut is "When Men Grow Old."
The remaining 12 tracks comprise some of the artist's best-known work, including a 1997 "MTV Unplugged" performance of "Change the World" with Eric Clapton. Combined with his work as a producer and songwriter for other artists, Babyface has had a part in more than 100 top-10 pop and R&B hits.
Babyface recently signed a deal with new Arista President Antonio "L.A." Reid. The move reunites the two, who began their careers together performing in the funk band the Deele.
The complete track listing for Babyface: A Collection of his Greatest Hits is: "For the Cool in You"; "It's No Crime"; "Whip Appeal"; "Never Keeping Secrets"; "Every Time I Close My Eyes"; "When Can I See You"; "Reason for Breathing"; "This Is for the Lover in You," featuring L.L.
