The soundtrack to

the classic film Casablanca, which has never been released before in

any format, will hit the streets on Oct. 14. In addition to the film's score, the soundtrack will feature

"As Time Goes By," an alternate version of Dooley "Sam" Wilson's "Knock On Wood" and "Dats What Noah Done," a song which did not make the film's final cut... A glossy new hip-hop music magazine called XXL features stories about Master P, Faith Evans, old school luminary Rakim and controversial former Nation Of Islam spokesman Khallid Muhammad in its debut issue...

Reel Big Fish will show its appreciation to the Miami Dolphins who apparently love to play "Trendy" during breaks in the game by performing at a pre-game tailgate party on Nov. 17 and then entering the stadium to play their rude-boy version of "The Star Spangled Banner"... Fans of comedian Adam Sandler should circle Sept. 9 on their calendars since that date marks the release of the former Saturday Night Live cast member's third album, What's Your Name?, which contains 14 studio recordings of his trademark silly songs, including "Red-Hooded Sweatshirt" and "The Lonesome Kicker," a tale of an NFL kicker who can't get any respect...

The name of the new Robbie Robertson album is Contact From the Underworld of Redboy (Nov. 4)... 1200 Records is the name of the latest major-label imprint to hop on the electronica bandwagon. Sweden's death metal ambassadors Entombed will release their fourth album, To Ride, Shoot Straight and Speak the Truth on Oct. 28...

Letters to Cleo's third album, Go! will hit stores on Oct. 7... Look for the third The Kahanek Incident 12" remix project from Trance Syndicate. Out now is an ambient remix of Stars of the Lid's "Texas" by Labradford and the favor returned by Stars of the Lid, who use elements from all three Labradford LPs to create the 20-minute trip "Virginia." -- ATN staff report
