Wilkinsons, Jason Sellers Lead Week's New Albums

The long-awaited sophomore album Here and Now, from the harmonizing Wilkinsons, leads the releases this week on Giant Nashville.

The Canadian family trio hit the country charts with their 1998 debut, Nothing But Love, which featured such hits as "26 Cents" and "Fly (The Angel Song)."

BNA artist Jason Sellers, a soulful country singer/songwriter and former husband of country singer Lee Ann Womack, unleashes his second effort, A Matter of Time. Chic traditionalists BR5-49 offer their newest live set, Coast to Coast, on Arista/Nashville.

Renaissance Records releases Anthology, from Sweethearts of the Rodeo, the 1980s darlings who infused country-rock with bluegrass. The Sweethearts included Vince Gill's then-wife Janis, as well as Classic Country Vol 5. — Sony Ladies. Insurgent country outfit Bloodshot Records offers Kelly Hogan & The Pine Valley Cosmonauts' Beneath The Underdog.

Artists such as Rhett Akins, Lee Ann Womack, Marty Stuart, Bryan White, Charlie Daniels, Rebecca Lynn Howard and Ray Stevens are featured in the MCA Nashville soundtrack Tom Sawyer, for the animated video of the same name.
