Once again, the release of Lil' Kim's Notorious K.I.M. has been pushed back, this time from April 25 to June 20, according to an Atlantic Records spokesperson.
The release of the flamboyant female rapper's second album has been delayed multiple times in the past year as she and producers continue to rework the album.
Lil' Kim began her career in 1995 under the tutelage of late hip-hop star the Notorious B.I.G., as part of the Junior M.A.F.I.A., a group made up of the Notorious B.I.G.'s friends from Brooklyn, N.Y. Her first album, 1996's Hard Core, was noted for its lyrical audacity, with titles that included "Queen B@#$h."
She also is known for her changing hair color and outrageous outfits. She wore a purple ensemble that exposed her left breast at last year's MTV Video Music Awards in New York.
