Male 'Divas' To Include D'Angelo, Sting

Backstreet Boys, Enrique Iglesias, Tom Jones also on VH1 show.

R&B singer D'Angelo, pop stars the Backstreet Boys and former Police frontman Sting headline the roster for VH1's "Divas: The Men Strike Back," to be aired on the network April 18. Other singers on the bill include Welsh crooner Tom Jones and Latin-pop singer Enrique Iglesias. Each artist will sing songs of his own, in addition to performing with each other. D'Angelo, whose album Voodoo is #8 on the Billboard R&B and Hip-Hop chart, will perform a duet with Jones, according to a Virgin Records spokesperson. The artists have not made final song selections, but the finale will feature all of the singers performing a Sting song, the spokesperson said. The show will be rehearsed April 10 and taped April 11 in New York. (SonicNet's parent company, Viacom, also owns VH1.)
